Terms of service

Last updated: October 24, 2026. The Spanish version governs; this is a faithful translation.

1. The service

Ars Vigil, operated by Víctor Ángel Ruiz Espinoza, provides an AI assistant that answers a business's WhatsApp messages using information the business supplies and, if the business enables it, books appointments in its Google Calendar. Exact features depend on the plan.

2. The business's responsibilities

3. Limits of AI

The assistant answers from the business's information and is instructed not to invent prices or give diagnoses, but it can make mistakes. It does not replace professional medical, legal or financial advice. Appointments remain requests until the business confirms them.

4. Price and payment

Price, setup and payment terms are agreed in writing with each business. The service is monthly and can be cancelled at any time with written notice, effective the next billing period. Setup fees are non-refundable, except under the appointment guarantee for the Booking + assistant plan published on arsvigil.com: if in the first 30 days the assistant does not book the number of new appointments the guarantee states for the business's industry, we refund that plan's setup fee. Only new customers count, no duplicates, in slots the calendar had open, confirmed by the business.

5. Data

Conversations and appointments of the business's customers belong to the business. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. When the service ends the business can request a copy; data is then deleted on the schedule stated there.

6. Availability and liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running, but it depends on third parties (WhatsApp, Google, AI and hosting providers) and may be interrupted. Our total liability is limited to the fees the business paid in the last three months.

7. Changes and governing law

We give at least 30 days' notice of changes affecting active clients. These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico; disputes go to the courts of Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
